You may also want to take the Wikipedia Adventure, an interactive tour that will help you learn the basics of editing Wikipedia. You can visit The Teahouse to ask questions or seek help.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. Sourcing; neutrality

[edit]

Please use high quality sourcing per WP:RS, and please take care to neutrally reflect what the source actually says, per WP:NPOV. You have made it clear that you think the "founders' reward" is a bad thing; that should not enter into your editing. Jytdog (talk) 04:12, 11 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Edit war warning

[edit]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Zcash shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.Jytdog (talk) 10:19, 11 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sourcing

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Monero, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Jytdog (talk) 21:40, 18 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. Jytdog (talk) 22:07, 18 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Verifiedaccount. It looks like you made four reverts at Monero (cryptocurrency) on 18 September, per the complaint at the edit warring noticeboard. You might avoid a block for violation of WP:3RR if you respond and promise to stop warring. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 20:28, 19 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The edit warring report has been closed with a warning to you. If you revert again at this article without first getting a talk page consensus for your change you may be blocked. You have been resisting the normal steps of article cleanup and have beeen trying to add questionable sources. If you need more feedback on what is an acceptable source for Wikipedia, you can ask at WP:RSN. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 13:49, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
